About these seeds:
The Thai bird's eye chilli is probably the most widely recognized chilli across the world. In Thailand, these chillies are known as ‘Prik Kee Nu’ (พริกขี้หนู) and are a small, extremely spicy chilli pepper. It's also known as Thai chilli and is a popular ingredient in Thai cuisine. The name literally translates to "mouse dropping chilli" due to its small size. It’s smaller in size than the ‘Prik Jinda’ chilli pepper. They measure at 90,000 to 100,000 on the Scoville scale, so despite their small size, they are very spicy. One of many great Thai recipes that you can use to sample the heat level of this chilli is the traditional Thai Papaya Salad recipe or ‘Som Tam’. Sourced from my friends farm just outside of Udon Thani (The provincial capital city in northeast Thailand.

Seed germination takes time, so don't panic! If in winter months, please don't expect fruitful results. The best time to sow seeds in western Europe for plants like this is February/early spring. They can germinate in winter if indoors, but growth rate will be very slow for the obvious fact that it's winter.
